Absolutely loved this tiny quaint little place that is off the beaten path but so easy to get to. The food is so fresh and delicious. My husband and I both had the lobster roll (made with tons of FRESH lobster) and a delicious squash pear soup that was amazing. Then we enjoyed their fresh baked rhubarb custard pie. The staff/service is very friendly and welcoming and we would definitely like to go back again. You won't be disappointed and you will be pleasantly full. Prices are really fair!

This was a lovely spot for some lunch. The decor is cozy and inviting, and the service attentive and friendly. The lobster roll was delicious and the poppy seed dressing on the salad was amazing. I'll definitely make a point to come back if I'm in the area again!

This place feels like visiting your mom or grandma: cozy, welcoming, and full of care. It’s not fancy, but that’s part of the charm. We had the fish cakes, and they were excellent. The staff even split them into two plates without us asking, just because they noticed we were sharing. The food is fresh, affordable, and made with love. A quiet pause from the rush of life.

Out of the way little French Acadian spot. Everything fresh, home cooked and very good. Reasonably priced as well.

Speaking as a generational Nova Scotian, this is a quintessential Nova Scotian spot. ALL visiters and anyone who wants an authentic local experience should visit this locally owned and operated restaurant. Super quaint, the service is downhome friendly and the walls are full of locally made crafts that are purchasable. There is indoor and outdoor seating. The food is homemade and delicious, prices are reasonable and the restaurant is clean. The house it is in is part of an Acadian Historical Museum (Museum part is open mid-May to mid-October). Ask the server about the history of the house! As for the food, I've personally had the fishcakes, beans, fish chowder, giant tea biscuits, homemade pies, homemade lemonade, and the gingerbread with lemon sauce. ALL are fabulous and I have travelled from Dartmouth on a few occasions just for the Gingerbread . It's worth the money and the beautiful drive.

Lovely cute little farm house with home cooked meals. The poor sweet ladies were run off their feet on the long weekend when we arrived but everything was worth the wait!
